I hope everyone had a great weekend! I know the Larson's did. Greta and five year old Britta arrived from Sweden where they have been living. More on that will come soon! ;)
I have added a new video today!! It is all about Kirsten dancing to magical Christmas music. (AKA the Gothard Sisters! :D)

Hehe, I guess I told you I'd update! Today I have a LARGE update!
I have been working on it for a while. Here is a tour of the Larson's Log Cabin, the center of Merryville and my only dollhouse up right now. (Not including ones in my closet...;D)
Here it is! The Larson's Log Cabin
I will be taking pictures of their house in winter time soon enough so you guys can see it them as well. They are definitely more winter than Autumn by this time, so I want to share with you!

First let me say one thing........sorry!!!! I can't even use the excuse that I was busy, I just haven't taken the time to update and I feel bad!
The Larson's just put up their Christmas tree. Anders chopped it in the forest and Roan and Peder helped him bring it back, while Kirsten, Kit and Spoody cleared the place for the tree.
Anders wife, Greta, has been living in Sweden taking care of her mother who was very old. Her mom has sadly passed away and Greta is bringing her things and will be home in Merryville in a few weeks time! The whole family hopes she will be here for Christmas. (There will be a Larson's Christmas Photo Story!)
I have to say, Tori isn't much interested in dolls these days and Malorie and I are the ones who are the obsessed doll players. We have decided to redo the StClare family and take Rythmie and Ginger out and add two new dolls and a new stuffed dog. I promise you that I will update before Friday of next week. Promise!!!!!!

All the dolls have been having very busy days lately! Merryville's weather is at that wonderful point when fall leaves are constantly blowing across the ground and carved pumpkins from Halloween sit in everyone's front yard.
The Maxwell family has just moved into a rather large mansion in the center of Merryville town square. The Maxwell's have adjusted to this new house quickly and they are enjoying being able to walk to Layers of Lace to work, rather than taking the bus into town from their old house which was far off.
The Parkington family consisting of Samantha, Elanor and Marly, now have plans to move into a pre-built mansion out of town a ways. They also plan to start some buildings out there including a library.
The old house is now housing the Henderson Family on two floors, Mia and her dog Snickers in one small apartment and Maraposa Blume has plans to move into the top apartment.
I have a rather special update for you today introducing three new characters to Merryville!
Here is a new and improved Maxwell Family Page.
Our new characters consist of Shirley Anne Thompson, a girl just out of college working now as a maid, and the Stone Family now working as Butler and Cook in Maxwell Manor. Very soon I will be posting pictures of the Larson's house and the Maxwell Manor as well as everyone elses house. Excluding the Parkingtons though, who have not quite moved into their new house completely yet.

Here is part two of Anders Larson's arrival in Merryille story!
"Um, Hello there?" Anders said, walking into the door of his new home. But then he got distracted and walked over to the roaring waterfall a ways away.
"Wow, this is so handy! Look at this nice barn and chicken coop! What fine horses we have now as well and my! We even have a prodouce stand it appears. How perfect!"
Suddenly a head poked out the log cabins door. A little blond head poked out the door, lighted up with recognition and yelled!
"Dad!"
"Peder! Wow you have grown much to tall for my liking! It's been a whole year, why, by now you are practically a gentleman! My word!" Anders said. They went inside and everyone crowded around Anders.
"We got your letter!" Kit said happily.
"I didn't think it was for real at first! But here you are!" Kirsten exclaimed.
"Now that you're here I can show you all the coolest places in the woods, dad!" Chirped Roan.
"We should make you something to eat!" Anna yelled.
" My word! Hold your horses everyone. I am here for good, no need to worry! You will be getting enough of me in the next little while! Probably too much for your liking!" Anders chuckled.
Kirsten showed her dad the bed in the laundry room she had made and he said it was perfect.
Finally, he was home in Merryville!

We have a new arrival in Merryville! This makes twenty seven dolls in our doll town! Anders Larson is the new resident. Here is a story of his coming.
Anders Larson didn't enjoy bus rides much. The boat ride from Sweden had been better. Though he liked the boat ride a little better he was almost feeling motion sick. When finally the bus stopped at the Merryville bus stop he looked around.
"Merryville, eh? Looks like some good fields." He looked into the distance. Wait, possibly this could be a problem. Never ending fields meant no buildings.
"I don't see where the buildings could be, unless they are underground?" He said, patting his foot on the firm dirt underneath. "Oh no, nice and strong. No houses under there."
He shrugged and started working, glad to have fresh air. He walked and walked with just a small pack on his back. Finally after a very long while he climbed up a large hill. Later he would learn this to be the hill he walked up every day for work, trying to start corn and potato fields. This hill revealed the whole town.
"Pretty small. Huh. Nice ground though, I wonder which house could be mine." He put his hand to his eyes. He walked down the hill and eventually up a paved street. There was a big building with an elegant sign and a cafe' was next door. Anders walked in and got directions from Mrs. Maxwell and went to his new log cabin.

Soooo many things are going on in Merryville, as it is a busy time of year.
Mia StClare just got a new apartment perfect for her and Snickers as well as her family when they visit. She has been sitting in her apartment trying to cook lemon bars. She keeps following the recipe exactly right and yet it doesn't seem to work.
Next door Hound Henderson is knocking on the door yelling at his daughter Bella to let him in. She refuses to open the door because she is wanting to take a nap. Hound forgot his hammer and he needs to fix something downtown.....
Anna and Peder Larson are supposed to be gathering firewood, but Anna insisted on taking a little detour. They have been out an hour and a half later than they should be.

The Larson's have been putting up a bunch of fall decorations! They have some adorable scarcrows as well as a pumkin patch! It is very cute...:)

Today all of the Larson's took care to start their chores. They have all been busy but are done now and are reading a story together. Kit is still not home and today is staying in Harrisburg. The weather has been rather bad there and she can't get back yet. Weather in Merryville was nice here though!

It's October in Merryville and everyone seems to be quite busy. Marine Maxwell has come out and hired herself it seems to be director of Starlight Studios, Merryville's acting and ballet school of performing. She has contemplated deepy the possibility of putting on a doll swan lake at Christmastime. Everyone has signed up and it seems like it will work out. The only problem is practicing. So it will be put on next winter of 2011 possibly and for now she will be planning all of the dances.
Samantha Parkington stands proudly at her perch above the library box daily, awaiting any juicy gossip that might come to her ears. She then takes it home at the end of the day to give to Charisma who turns it even more scandalous. Elanor Parkington has the job to make the pages look pretty and smell good, then take them into Mia to become published.
The Larson family has been very busy trying to get all of their vegetables in before a predicted coldfront comes. It doesn't help that Kit is out of town dropping Caddie off at a school in Harrisburg. It is a few hours drive away but she will supposedly be back tomorrow, Tuesday. All of their chores have been issued by a very stressed out Kirsten. She's been so muddy and sore that she finally just decided to put them together so she could stay inside. They have all been following the specific rules needed so they could write in the Larson Family Journal, a new page!

When Malorie came she surprised me with something--a barn for the Larsons! I will take some good pictures soon, but it is darling. Tori came over as well and we did a lot of....heh heh....stuff. You will find out soon, FYI. :D
Anna Larsons has the chore of gathering eggs from the chicken coop every morning. Spoody helps her, and makes food for the food wagon. (coming soon!). Kirsten and Kit work in the fields and Roan always seems to dissapear......Peder takes care of all of the dogs.

Today Malorie is here! Yay! She is spending the night and the dolls are having all SORTS of adventures....we got yet more surprises up our sleeve. Hahahaha! ;)

I haven't updated my blog in a while now so I did today. Here is my post. I also have updated the About Us page yet again. I am not fully done with Malorie's page but am pleased to announce that this is the BEST version of it yet. Packed with pictures of me starting at age two and ending with pictures of my dolls and I now. Malorie has pictures of her and her stuffed animals starting at age two as well. I will be adding more pictures of her and her dolls now, soon. She is coming over next week and we will be filming new videos. I also have updated various Meet The Dolls pages and added a Maxwell Family Photos 2010 page. Yet another thing for you to check out is this Cute Photo Story by us a year and a half or so ago. Enjoy!

Hullo everyone! You are all in for quite the surprise the next few days. We have had many updates since I last updated. So be excited!
Anna Larson as we speak is with Peder trying to take care of their fiesty piggies. She gets her own and has been trying to decide what to name it. Peder suggested "Dinner" or "Burp" neither suited Anna!
Kirsten has been trying to make new clothes for everyone. They haven't gotten new outfits since Summer Solstice, and right now they have about two each.
Mia has been working hard on her desicion to be a mail carrier. She has been keeping her eye out for used (or new) mailboxes in the junkyard on the outside of town. She wants everyone to have a mailbox so she doesn't have to knock on their doors.
Like I said, be ready for some updates! For now though, I added my friend Malorie to the About Us page

Hooray, I am back again! I don't plan on closing down this site anytime soon but I will tell you if I am gonna stop updating it!
I am very, very pleased to announce that Morgan Maxwell has moved to Merryville! She is Charisma, Lucy and Candice's mom. You can view her picture and read a bit about her on The Maxwell's Family Page. Hopefully a photo story to come! Anna has been a little pouty today! Read the story here.

Today's a busy day and sadly that means that there isn't much time to update! But I DID update the Maxwell Adventures page for you with a story about Charisma that happened just last night. Poor girl was going crazy! I have also created a StClare Adventures page which is for the StClare Family Updates. Mia has found the perfect job....find out what it is!

*Rythmie meets Mia story part two. You can see part one from my post on the fifth.*
Katrina looked at her, eyes wide.
"Well...eh....I wasn't expecting this folie, that is, craziness." she said.
"I don't have to if you have enough workers already!" Rythmie cut in.
"Oh my....I never thought of that idea. Why I believe it would be....grand! Please come inside and we will talk."
After settling the papers and times up Rythmie was set.
Now I just need a place to stay, she thought drowsily. She got directions--by a girl wearing a lot of pink and holding a poodle--to the Larson's farm and took a bus out there. Kirsten was busily untangling a ball of knotted yarn while Peder and Anna climbed trees and Marta was working in the kitchen.
"Mia StClare? What are you doing here?" Kirsten asked suspiciously.
"Actually my name is not Mia it's Rythmie StClare." Rythmie exclaimed.
"Are you cousins?"
"No, we just happen to have the same last name...and look alike." She said doubtfully. She realized that she sounded pretty fishy.
"Are you playing a trick on me Mia StClare?" Kirsten didn't seem to believe Rythmie.
"No! I'm new and I need a tour if you don't mind I heard this is where I'm supposed to check in at."
"Hmm, alright then." Kirsten asked Rythmie if she could ride a horse.
"I've never tried but-"
"Okay well I do not want to take the bus so I guess we should walk. It's only about two miles." They walked to town and Kirsten helpfully showed her La Warm Crepe' pronouncing it as "The Warm Creep" even though Rythmie tried to protest that she had already seen it many times. Kirsten showed her the town apartments and the library then insisted that she should stay with Mia because she wanted to prove that this was a trick. (Kirsten is very smart because Mia would play a trick like this, though this in fact wasn't one for once.) She knocked on Mia's door and was stunned when another freckled red-head opened the door.
"Wow, Mia." Kirsten said in awe.
"Right uhm...Hello Kirsten, Hey again Rythmie." Mia said. Kirsten told Mia that Rythmie would be staying with her then left as quickly as she came.
"Hi." Rythmie said, smiling.

"That's my bed, so you'd better move!" She took a flying jump and landed almost on top of Rythmie and then picked up her pillow. "This is war!"

I am pleased to announce that my friend Tori has been struck by the love of dolls! That means the About Me page changed to About Us. Check it out!
Today I thought I'd tell you of the story when Rythmie and Mia met. Tori came over yesterday and we acted it out ;) .
Rythmie shivered as she finally trudged out of the bus into her new town--Merryville. She had grown up with distant family all of her life. Passed from family to family. Finally she had made an independant choice and applyed to go to Merryville Acadamy. She looked down the main street called "Bonzi Rd" and spotted a new looking French cafe' (Alright now you know what the new building is...). She walked inside, backpack slung over her shoulders. A girl with a strong French accent met her.
"Welcome to La Warm Crepe' the usual I presume? Table for one, a muffin, American granola bar and hot chocolate?" The girl asked.
"Um...yes a table for one and I don't have a usual yet, I'd just like to look at your menu." Rythmie replied. The girl walked her over to a table where another girl was holding her menu in front of her face.
"The usual, Katrina." The girl sitting down said and set down her menu. She looked strangely like Rythmie.
"Oh you Americans....so confusing!" Katrina said looking from Mia to Rythmie. Rythmie looked greedily at the menu and ordered, Katrina walked away. Mia and Rythmie talked a bit akwardly. There was only one table in the resaurant so they had to share. Mia recommended that Rythmie check with Kirsten or Marta Larson who usually gave new people in Merryville tours of the town. Rythmie thanked her and after eating her food walked into the resaurant.
"Hello...uh, Katrina I think it is. I was wondering if you might need someone to work for you at this restaurant.....I am willing if you are hiring."

I've got a whole new section on this site called Family Updates. It is so when I'm not doing photo stories about the dolls you can know what's going on. So far I have the Maxwell Family's up and the Larson Family's up. I won't update this every day, but I will every once in a while so you can know the going on's of the dolls.

Whew! Can you believe that it's actually July already? The dolls have been getting ready for the Fourth of July by decorating their houses and ordering fireworks from the next town over.
Anna has faithfully listened to Nafy Cast #13 and decided to send Nafy a letter. This letter almost got terribly lost, though! Check out the story here.

Wow guys sorry I haven't updated! I got a summer babysitting job and have been busy lately. :)
I am excited to have a new page added to the The Buildings Page. It is of Charisma and Candice's Bedroom. It gives all of the proper ediquitte for a fashionable girl's bedroom. I also added a Sneak Peak page for the new building......Enjoy!

Today I added some new people to the Meet the Dolls page! First off I added Lucy Maxwell onto the Maxwell Family Page and also Officer Hound onto his own page.
Everyone is recovering from the Summer Solstice right about now. Charisma has redone her room entirely to fit the few things she got there. That is just her style.
Plus everyone is abuzz about a possible new building in Merryville......

I have added quite a few updates today! First off I have added Candice Maxwell to the Maxwell Family Page as well as Charisma's poodle, Kiki. I updated the "Meet the Dolls" page to have music that fits each of the dolls lifestyles. There is also a whole new segment, but I have not put anything on it. You can look and see what is coming up though!

Today Anna Larson finally finished her quilt "Dottie"! She is thrilled. I haven't had time to update it on the Sewing page yet, but I'll be sure to soon! Marta is working on a green pillow to go on Anna's bed. Peder is a bit jealous and now says he wants a blue quilt because his current red one is itchy.
Right now Kirsten and Marta are sewing together. Besides feeding horses which is something you have to do, they are resting today since it is Sunday and a day of rest. It has been going on for about two hours and Anna finally finished. Peder is upstairs in his bed imagining that he is a Hunter. I guess you could say it is like playing video games only he imagines it in his head.

Hullo everyone! You are all in for quite the surprise the next few days. We have had many updates since I last updated. So be excited!
Anna Larson as we speak is with Peder trying to take care of their fiesty piggies. She gets her own and has been trying to decide what to name it. Peder suggested "Dinner" or "Burp" neither suited Anna!
Kirsten has been trying to make new clothes for everyone. They haven't gotten new outfits since Summer Solstice, and right now they have about two each.
Mia has been working hard on her desicion to be a mail carrier. She has been keeping her eye out for used (or new) mailboxes in the junkyard on the outside of town. She wants everyone to have a mailbox so she doesn't have to knock on their doors.
Like I said, be ready for some updates! For now though, I added my friend Malorie to the About Us page

*Rythmie meets Mia story part two. You can see part one from my post on the fifth.*
Katrina looked at her, eyes wide.
"Well...eh....I wasn't expecting this folie, that is, craziness." she said.
"I don't have to if you have enough workers already!" Rythmie cut in.
"Oh my....I never thought of that idea. Why I believe it would be....grand! Please come inside and we will talk."
After settling the papers and times up Rythmie was set.
Now I just need a place to stay, she thought drowsily. She got directions--by a girl wearing a lot of pink and holding a poodle--to the Larson's farm and took a bus out there. Kirsten was busily untangling a ball of knotted yarn while Peder and Anna climbed trees and Marta was working in the kitchen.
"Mia StClare? What are you doing here?" Kirsten asked suspiciously.
"Actually my name is not Mia it's Rythmie StClare." Rythmie exclaimed.
"Are you cousins?"
"No, we just happen to have the same last name...and look alike." She said doubtfully. She realized that she sounded pretty fishy.
"Are you playing a trick on me Mia StClare?" Kirsten didn't seem to believe Rythmie.
"No! I'm new and I need a tour if you don't mind I heard this is where I'm supposed to check in at."
"Hmm, alright then." Kirsten asked Rythmie if she could ride a horse.
"I've never tried but-"
"Okay well I do not want to take the bus so I guess we should walk. It's only about two miles." They walked to town and Kirsten helpfully showed her La Warm Crepe' pronouncing it as "The Warm Creep" even though Rythmie tried to protest that she had already seen it many times. Kirsten showed her the town apartments and the library then insisted that she should stay with Mia because she wanted to prove that this was a trick. (Kirsten is very smart because Mia would play a trick like this, though this in fact wasn't one for once.) She knocked on Mia's door and was stunned when another freckled red-head opened the door.
"Wow, Mia." Kirsten said in awe.
"Right uhm...Hello Kirsten, Hey again Rythmie." Mia said. Kirsten told Mia that Rythmie would be staying with her then left as quickly as she came.
"Hi." Rythmie said, smiling.

National Pajama Week ends tonight and it is sad. I added a page today! A few, actually. First is the Merryville Holidays Page you can view here and inside of that are the 18 inch girls (so far) birthdays. Click here to see it. I am quite proud of it! Stay tuned for many, many, many more updates!

Today the Larson's got a whole new addition to their house---the loft! It is awesome. Ana and Peder now live up in a (way cool AND sturdy) loft.
This week is national pajama week in Merryville and everyone is wearing their pajamas! Mia has ladybug pajamas and Chrissa's are blue striped.

Right now the girls are doing various things....Mia is working in her store buzzing around. Ana keeps walking into the store with Peder, buying something then leaving and coming back five minutes later because she "forgot" something. Then she buys something else. Everytime they go in she won't let Peder get something...he is whining!
Chrissa and Kolby are supposed to be working on a school report, but are actually working on their Summer Solstice dance moves.

April 13 201Ahh! Today was...super frustrating. We got the boxes for the houses, that's about the only good news. (They are HUGE! Hooray!) The bad news is that my camera broke...my brother accidentally broke it. I am very, very upset and frustrated. We'll have to see what happens...

Today is the day this site was created. There is news that tomorrow the dollies will be able to get a house or two. (Cardboard stove and dishwasher boxes--woohoo!) I am excited about this site. Here's to many years of doll loving! I will be adding things from now on. Keep your eyes open for pictures, videos and stories about my girls.

I have Mia StClare(12), Chrissa(10) and Bella(11) Carpenter, and Kolby(10) Callahan. My little Larson family is Anna(10), Peter(8) and Sarabeth(11). The Larsons are waiting for their big sister Kirsten to come live with them. This site is managed by me, Hallie. I hope to have it for years and years. This site is inspired by http://ourdolls.net/. We will see if it goes anywhere or if it will just be here for a while.
